Very Helpful Book With Lots Of Accurate Info. March 27, 2005 Maryann Romain (Perrysburg, Oh.) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
After aquiring my first Frenchie puppy a few months ago, I read this book cover to cover. Now I use it almost daily as a resource--I even quote this book at my vet's office. I would definitely recommend this book to any future Frenchie owner as it has really been a lifesaver for me.

Great Frenchie Book March 26, 2005 M. Dobbins (Marshall, MI) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
A must have book for all frenchie owners. Loads of good information for everyone who has a frog dog. The author clearly knows the breed and does a good job making the information fun and interesting. Make a place on your shelf for this book!
eminently readable; good intro to the breed March 26, 2005 J. Grebe (Kansas) This is a great addition to my French Bulldog library, with scads of nice photos, and with well-presented and understandable information of help to any Frenchie fancier, whether new to the breed or a seasoned veteran Frenchie owner. I recommend this book highly to all.
Nice Introduction Guide March 8, 2005 Michael E. Mcwilliams 2 out of 19 found this review helpful
One of the most discouraging things I tend to find when I read reviews by professional breeders is the arrogance associated with their involement with a particular breed of dog. Dogs are living creatures and should not be treated or referred to as some kind of specimen for reproductive research which is in many ways the perspective one get when talking to breeders about dogs. I have owned several dogs over the years and all of them did not come from professional breeders. If you are not a physician or have experience in genetics how can you garuntee that everydog in your breed program is of perfect quality, health, and tempermant. Ultimately you can't which makes you no more or less an authority on pedigree dogs. Ultimately dogs need love, physical health needs, and nutrition. The show circuit for dogs is vulgar because there is no one dog that is better than another. Breeders need to remember this when they are trying to advocate their arrogance about the importance of dog ownership
